Gulnur Toyalieva is an Austrian designer, born in Kyrgyzstan. Her label “GULNUR” was launched with a brilliant fashion show in a well-known art-gallery in Vienna in 2011.

Grown up in an artistic family, her handcraft skills and love for aesthetics were fostered since her early childhood. In her first collections, her dresses expressed a nostalgic return to the traditional handwork. Her dresses are made of the finest fabrics from the famous Great Silk Road – along where her mother country Kyrgyzstan is located. Gulnur Toyalieva draws her inspiration from the rich cultural heritage of Central Asia, as well as from her current home - the modern Europe.

Her decision to pursue her passion for fashion design and to become a fashion designer manifested during many years of work in various international organizations. Owning a Master’s Degree in foreign languages, she also attended an Italian Fashion Academy.

“GULNUR” stands for feminine and sensual elegance to emphasize women’s femininity, and yet, in line with the modern European style. The exquisite fabrics from the Silk Road and love for perfection and style make the collections of Gulnur Toyalieva unique, which embody her ethos: beauty, femininity, sensuality and elegance! It is expressed with her every new collection.

Since the label “GULNUR” was launched, several successful fashion shows have taken place in the heart of Vienna. The presented designs were unique pieces, tailored by the designer herself, whereas she also fulfilled the individual wishes of her customers.

Today, her collections are manufactured with the utmost care in a best fashion atelier of Kyrgyzstan. Her Prêt-á-couture fashion line is produced and offered in her own fashion house in Kyrgyzstan, as well as in European boutiques.
